Exit M1 at junction 21 and follow the signs for Leicester using the A5460.
Once on the A5460 dual carriageway pull into the right hand lane of the dual carriageway on approaching the traffic lights at the first major junction.
Turn right into Braunstone Lane East at the lights. The Travel Lodge is facing you (on the left side of Braunstone Lane).
Follow the road to the T junction at the end (it runs into Middleton Street after the hump back bridge) Turn left at the traffic lights (Graham Goode garage is on your right sitting at the lights)
Take the second left into Church Road (both roads are very small).
Follow the road to the end and Freemen’s Holt is facing you.
Pull up at the electronic gates and press the CALL button.
Follow the signs for the M1/A5460 out of Leicester.
Stay on the A5460 Narborough Road through the shopping area.
Straight ahead at the junction with Upperton Road.
As the A5460 widens out into 3 lanes at the junction with Fulhurst Avenue (which swings in from the right) continue straight ahead.
At the next main set of traffic lights just after the petrol station on the left pull across at the end of the bus lane into the left hand lane and take the left hand filter into Braunstone Lane East.
Follow the road to the T junction at the end (it runs into Middleton Street after the hump back bridge) Turn left at the traffic lights (Graham Goode garage is on your right sitting at the lights)
Take the second left into Church Road (both roads are very small).
Follow the road to the end and Freemen’s Holt is facing you.
Pull up at the electronic gates and press the CALL button.
From Leicester city centre take route out of Leicester via A594 Welford Road past the prison on the left. Continue past the Granby Hall parking area next to the Tigers ground which is on your right.
Pull towards the right hand side of Welford Road following the signs for A426. This will take you through Freemen’s Common shopping and leisure area one way system and out left onto Aylestone Road.
Continue on the A426 Aylestone Road past the junction with Saffron Lane.
Follow Aylestone Road past Grace Road (signposted to the cricket)on the left. Continue ahead past is a car wash and tyre and exhaust centre on the right.
A little further on you will see Granby school on the right with a petrol station located on the left. Take the turning right after the garage into Hall Lane.
At the end of Hall Lane turn left into Old Church Street and follow the road round towards the end.
Freemen’s Holt is located on the right hand side just before the vicarage and St Andrews church. Pull up at the gate and press the call button.
